The Art History Program is proud to announce that our senior majors Adrian Peoples and Lucy Schwalbe have been elected to Wesleyan University’s Gamma Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, Spring 2026. Congratulations, Adrian and Lucy!
In total, 77 seniors have been elected in Spring 2026. They will be honored at an induction ceremony on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel.
Earlier in Fall 2025, 15 members of the Class of 2026 were formally inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
The oldest national scholastic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa at Wesleyan is limited to 12 percent of the graduating class each year. Spring election is based on grades and fulfillment of the General Education Expectations (stages I and II). This includes students who are in the process of fulfilling the Expectations this semester.
