We are excited to announce that Art History Major Sophie Raiskin-Wood ’25 has been accepted into the Smithsonian Because of Her Story Internship Program. This admired program aims to provide interns with the platform to share a diversity of women’s voices from the past and present and empower and inspire people from all walks of life. Sophie will join a cohort of 15 interns this summer, who will participate in a variety of hands-on learning activities. Her will focus will be conducting archival research on women printmakers. We congratulate Sophie on this wonderful opportunity and look forward to hearing about her experience.

Lieber Art History Internship Fund, provides grant support to Art History majors or minors for summer work experience as rising juniors and seniors through unpaid or underpaid internships with non-profit visual arts-related institutions in the United States or abroad, such as museums, cultural foundations, collections, publications, and visual arts education programs.
